No. Vacation Vault credit does not expire, and there are no dormancy or inactivity fees. Unused value can remain available until you're ready to use it toward qualifying travel through Intermission Travel, subject to the Vacation Vault Terms & Conditions.

Absolutely. Vacation Vault can be used for more than one trip, and you can build your balance over time. Because it doesn't expire, there's no pressure to choose your trip immediately.

When you're ready, contact Intermission Travel. Your initial supplier-required deposit will normally be made using your own accepted payment method. Vacation Vault can then be applied toward eligible payments on your qualifying reservation. Credit is redeemed through Intermission Travel, not directly through the supplier.

The rest stays in your Vault. If you have $1,000 in credit and use $600 toward a qualifying vacation, the remaining $400 stays available for another qualifying trip.

The travel supplier's cancellation rules always apply. Vacation Vault does not make an otherwise nonrefundable trip refundable. If the supplier returns a Vacation Vault-funded amount to Intermission Travel, the amount actually returned is restored to your Vault. Supplier-retained penalties cannot be restored.

For example, if $1,000 was applied and the supplier returns $600 while retaining a $400 cancellation penalty, $600 is restored to your Vacation Vault.

The supplier's terms determine what is refundable. Any eligible Vacation Vault-funded amount returned to Intermission Travel is restored to your Vault and remains available for qualifying future travel.

Vacation Vault is designed specifically for travel and generally cannot be redeemed for cash. Restored credit goes back into your Vault rather than becoming a cash refund. Exceptions apply where cash redemption is required by applicable law.

No. It does not reserve a cruise, hotel, resort, tour, cabin, room, itinerary, or departure date, and it does not lock in a travel price or supplier promotion. Pricing and availability remain subject to the applicable supplier.

We'll tell you before you redeem. Not every supplier, fare, fee, or travel component generates commission, so not every expense qualifies. We'll determine the qualifying booking value and tell you exactly how much Vault credit can be used—no surprises.

Vacation Vault credits may generally be combined, subject to normal redemption limits. The standard rule still applies: Vacation Vault can generally cover up to one-third of the qualifying value of a particular vacation.

If Intermission Travel permanently ends Vacation Vault and no longer honors outstanding balances, it will refund the unused amount actually paid that corresponds to the remaining balance. Promotional value is not converted into cash except where required by law.

For example, a $1,000 Vault purchased for $900 contains $900 paid-in value and $100 promotional value. If half was already used, the remaining $500 would contain $450 paid-in value; that $450 would be the refundable amount.

No. Vacation Vault is not a bank account, savings account, investment, security, or interest-bearing financial product. It is a prepaid promotional travel program intended for qualifying travel booked through Intermission Travel.
