Your information & your choices

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Intermission Travel respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you visit our website, contact us, request travel planning, book travel, or agree to receive text messages.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile number, travel preferences, trip dates, budget, and details about your travelers. When needed for a booking, we may also request information required by the travel supplier, such as legal names, dates of birth, passport details, and payment authorization. Our website and service providers may collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and website activity to operate and protect their services.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, recommend travel options, prepare quotes, arrange and service bookings, coordinate with suppliers, process authorized transactions, and provide trip updates and customer support. When you subscribe or otherwise agree, we may also send newsletters or promotional communications within the scope of your consent.

Mobile information and text-message privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or rent your mobile information. Your consent to receive texts from Intermission Travel is specific to us and does not authorize another business to send you marketing messages. The information-sharing descriptions elsewhere in this policy do not permit sharing mobile information for third-party marketing or sharing text-message opt-in data or consent.

How you opt in to text messages

You opt in by providing your mobile number and explicitly agreeing to receive text messages from Intermission Travel through the consent process presented to you when you request or arrange communication with us. Providing a phone number or making a booking alone does not constitute consent to receive marketing texts. We send texts only within the scope of your agreement, such as travel inquiries, quotes, booking updates, reminders, and customer support. Promotional texts require your separate express agreement.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing travel or using our planning services.

How you opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any text message from Intermission Travel to opt out at any time. After you opt out, you may receive a single message confirming your request, and we will stop sending further texts unless you opt in again. You can also request that we stop texting by emailing jon@intermissiontravel.com.

For assistance with text messages, contact jon@intermissiontravel.com. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your booking; we can communicate about your travel by other available methods.

Cruise bookings and travel suppliers

For cruise bookings, we follow the applicable policies of the cruise line or other travel supplier. Your booking is subject to that supplier’s terms and conditions, including its payment, cancellation, refund, passenger-information, and privacy policies. We provide suppliers with the information needed to arrange and service your booking. Each supplier handles information it receives under its own privacy policy; please review that policy before booking. We can help you locate the relevant supplier policies.

Supplier policies do not override Intermission Travel’s commitments above concerning mobile information and text-message opt-in data and consent.

Service providers and external websites

We use service providers to support website hosting, inquiries, communications, booking management, and payment services. Information needed to provide those services may be processed by those providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. All such sharing remains subject to the mobile-information and text-message consent protections above.

Our website links to services operated by other companies, including travel suppliers, payment forms, hotel-booking tools, and newsletter services. Information you submit directly to those services is governed by their own privacy policies.

Security, retention, and your choices

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information and retain it as needed to provide travel services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. You can unsubscribe from newsletters using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page and updating its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact Jon Graham at Intermission Travel: jon@intermissiontravel.com.
